Runestead is a collaborative Viking-themed experience made up of independent businesses:

- Idunn’s Workshop
Each business maintains individual ownership and operations, but participates collectively in certain events under the Runestead name. When booking through or communicating with Runestead directly, these Terms and Conditions apply.
2. Bookings & Cancellations
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Cancellations must be made in writing. Refund policies will vary depending on the nature of the booking and any non-refundable costs already incurred (such as ingredients, travel, or setup).
- Runestead reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, or reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, illness, or logistical issues.
- In such cases, we will make every effort to notify you promptly and either reschedule or issue a refund where applicable.
3. Payments
- Payment details will be agreed upon at the time of booking.
- For flat-fee event bookings, costs may be split among participating partners as outlined in our financial agreement.
- Payments for individual purchases (such as food, crafts, or photographs) made at events are handled by each respective business and are subject to their own policies.
- We use secure third-party payment processors (e.g., PayPal, Stripe). We do not store or process credit card details directly.
4. Customer Expectations
- We strive to provide accurate information, quality services, and reliable communication. However, we cannot guarantee that all content on our website or promotional materials will be free of errors, or that our website will remain accessible at all times.
- By attending a Runestead event or activity, you acknowledge that some services (e.g., open flame cooking, axe throwing, archery) carry inherent risks. Appropriate safety instructions and supervision will be provided, and participation is at your own discretion and risk.
- Children must be supervised at all times and may only participate in certain activities under adult supervision and with consent from our team.
5. Intellectual Property
- All logos, artwork, text, designs, and branding related to Runestead are the intellectual property of Runestead and/or its individual partner businesses.
- No part of our website, printed material, or media may be copied, reproduced, or repurposed without prior written permission.
- You may share our content for non-commercial purposes (e.g., social media sharing with attribution), but you may not edit, sell, or claim it as your own.
6. User Conduct & Online Behaviour
When interacting with us online (including on our website, contact forms, email, or social media), you agree not to:
- Post or share any hateful, unlawful, or abusive content
- Send spam, promotions, or harmful links
- Harass, impersonate, or bully other users or team members
